Monday, I was early on my way to Rotterdam for Enrique Iglesias concert in Ahoy. We were there at half past three, and it was already quite busy. There were two rows, for the Golden Circle (for us) and the standard stand places. The standard was already madness. In our row were still people sitting on the ground, half an hour later suddenly EVERYBODY STANDS UP! And starts walking (almost running) so we shoot forward. Every half hour we went forward much more. I still do not understand why, because ...doors were still not open! But okay. I was at least not cold, with all those people around us =).
While we were crushed, we got to talking with a mother and daughter (mother was a big fan of Enrique and daughter thought it would be fun to go.) so it was also enjoyable despite pushing. And pushing everyone! Finally, they want to open the doors so people start pushing again, but this time harder. Pfff! So what does that man behind the fences say: GIRLS (yes especially girls!) PUSH NOT OTHERWISE WE THROW THE GATES CLOSE AGAIN! They stops pushing but suddenly they starts again. But it was not that bad! And all with all we eventually came in. First bag check and we got bracelet with Golden Circle on it! Only little saddened that the man was messing around with my bracelet!…So annoying, which I said “come on I want to go in!” The man laughed very challenging. But I didn’t paid attention … by the bag checking, my bottle cap should be removed otherwise i could not take it inside (weird!)!!!!!! But bad luck than, drink immediately. Once inside and I was quite little in panic because Carolien and I ask ourselves: “Where the heck must we in for the Golden Circle? It was a maze! … Fortunately, there was ultimately only one entrance where everyone had to pass and that was open. Normal plots were already bunched full, Golden Circle was not too bad … Unfortunately, everyone of course, already standing at the fences! But o my god, there was a little space were standing only one row of people!
YES! I thought I stand still for!! (Well almost!) Our side was pretty quiet but after half hour you must not walk backwards. But oh my freaking god! We had such an amazing view!!
Then finally start the program, but it was the worst ever (my opinion) … Jim Bakkum!!!!!!! How could they do as a support act for Enrique … well the better what would come after him! Jim began to sing and BAM! Oh my. What a booster! Shooter my hair up! It was funny but it gives me quite a headache. Couple days ago, I bought these little ear buds, I FORGET THEM!!!!!!!!!!!! Haha how stupid am I? program lasted for at least a half hour !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grrrrr you can imagine how I irritated myself! He had such an annoying voice … at a moment he says: “You all appear for the amazing Enrique …” everybody screams of course while he says also: “but who have also come for me?” you heard a few people saying out loud “yeah!” “So not much” he says. That moment I shout “Go away from the stage!!” Then he did a last song … omfg no! Finally he was gone. But it still took over a half hour before Enrique appeared on stage. The music began slowly working on my nerves. Carolien and I had our cameras ready-for-action in our hands. Meanwhile the big camera crew prepared themselves. (Everything was filmed and will come out on DVD. And goes global! Yes!!!!) The music started again but this time a familiar sound, there were texts behind the white curtain, now he can come at any moment…. Exciting!! Music went faster and faster, the crowd get insane, and then…. silence for 3 seconds… BAM there falls the curtain! Everyone went crazy!!!!! Literally! This was such a great moment … 2 girls fainted. what?! it just start for 2 seconds! I'm just getting even deafer because of all that screaming! So thought “what the hell” I scream as loud as them! No much louder!!
Light turned on, on the stage and there he was! Dead silence he started the song, quietly constructive “Tonight I’m Loving you” at one point he cut it off and said do you want to have it a little bit more dirty, can-Holland it be dirty? And the crowd went crazy again! And he began to sing the dirty version “Tonight I’m Fucking You”. The audience was great! Everyone sang along … some songs further he stayed here in the middle and came our way! I was already filming of course, and he came closer and closer suddenly before I knew he was right in front of me on the stage. I thought I would get a heart attack! He came even closer by jumping off the stage and came to a reduced stages. I got severely crushed by the crowd! But I didn’t not care! We were all together (two front rows than) a hand away from him! If he came a little bit closer forward, I think he had been lying there between all the crazy girls haha. He wouldn’t be safe anymore. He went away again but he came up to, like 6 or 7 times by us!! And every time that reduction! 
Just great! So I can say that we had the best place, I and the girls around me! So I had nothing to complain!! They set white chairs down on the stage where a singer and some musicians of the band sat down, Enrique said, when they asked where his concert for the DVD would be filmed with praise saying that he wanted to do that here in the Netherlands, Rotterdam. Because we are just the best audience! What luck! After a while he walked to the middle and looked around the audience there, and asked, “Who wants to come with me on the stage?” everyone got completely crazy!!!!!!! Everyone wanted of course. He picked two people (boy and girl) and referred them to the white chairs behind him on the stage. He sits there with them and asked them some things. The boy said his name but Enrique had trouble pronouncing his name which was very funny. Enrique asked if they were a couple but they were actually brother and sister. So everyone was laughing (aw peer Enrique! Lol) Enrique asked the two if they had a song that they want him to sing. He asked the boy, the boy had to think very long, on that asked Enrique if he actually knew any song of him. (He didn’t! XD). Then he asked the girl, she said immediately HERO! of course I knew it … This is a special act, so he was not going to do that , but he teased a bit and looked back at his musician and said “why, she is now ruing it all!” everyone in stitches. The brother says “aah do it for her” Enrique said “okay” but he didn’t stand up! However, he laid his head on the lap of the girl, it seemed as if she didn’t had anymore or if she would faint any minute! But she was able to restrain herself! He sang four complete lines and chopped off, and said okay guys serious now. Say a song. Any song! Like the boy finally said one, quite old (not Enrique’s, Stand By Me), almost everyone knew it so we sang along! 
They eventually went back and the show went on and again he came our way! And when he walked away I looked between the two girls who stood by me. I totally scared the hell out I looked straight into the spotlight of a big camera! I turned me back to where Enrique was! After a few songs I heard a very familiar tune, the tune of Hero and everyone went nuts! Because this was the moment! He will take someone out the audience! It took a while; I could not see anything so I just watched them on screen that I almost couldn’t see either! But I saw what at least something. A girl who stood next to me was crazy and yelled “come over here! Hell I want!” I thought girl shut up, everyone wants on that freak in stage with him! But this side of the audience has just bad luck!! Be just happy that he so often came to us! Suddenly we heard a loud scream so we knew he had found someone. It was a blond girl (as usual, when he is in Holland he always chooses a blond girl!) which the girl behind me said, you had to come over here, and brunettes are much nicer. So here is a hint to all girls: next time when you go, coloring your hair into blond =D … Of course, I regretted it too, at least I enjoyed the show and that was most important to me! Everyone went crazy when he stood very close to her and I thought oh come on people act normally! But it was a cool effect haha haha.

And then we had also the guitarist, which was very often on our side and we waving to him and waved back and with a big smile on his face all the time! They were great musicians the rest of the show was paired with confetti that was shot, fire and balloons what went through the music hall and kept on going because everyone threw them back up! This was a really nice effect.
It was a CHAOS to get outside again! I was half deaf and I pulled it Carolien with me! Fortunately we were quickly out in the car, we saw someone with amazing posters! Carolien immediately left the car leads and bought 2 posters!
One for her and one for me (thank you girl). I’m certainly one hour after I still enjoyed about the whole show! It was a day to never forget (for sure the time of my life haha). I cannot wait until this show comes out on DVD! And his next concert in Ahoy, I will be there for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maandag vroeg op weg naar Rotterdam voor Enrique Iglesias concert in Ahoy.
we waren er al om half 4, was toen al aardig druk. er stonden 2 rijen, voor de Golden Circle (voor ons dus) en de gewone. De gewone stond al bomvol. in de rij zaten nog mensen op de grond, half uurtje later ineens IEDEREEN STAAN.
en begint te lopen dus wij schieten naar voren 
. om het half uur gingen we steeds stuk naar voren. ik begrijp nog steeds niet waarom want deuren gingen toch nog niet open! maar oke. ik had het elk geval niet koud! ondertussen dat we werden geplet raakte we aan de praat met een moeder en dochter (moeder grote fan van Enrique en dochter vond het wel leuk om mee te gaan.) dus werd ook nog eens gezellif ondanks dat geduw 
iedereen maar duwen en geplet worden. Eindelijk willen ze de hekken/deuren open gaan doen en weer duwen hoor mensen!!! pfff! dus wat zegt die man: MEIDEN (ja vooral meiden!) NIET DUWEN ANDERS GOOIEN WE DE HEKKEN WEER DICHT! En jaa hoor we gaan duwen. maar het viel mee!!! Maar we kwamen uiteindelijk binnen, tassen controle en we kregen mooi bandje met Circle erop! 
Alleen beetje jammer dat die man zo zat te klooien met me bandje waarop ik zeg kom op schiet op wil naar binnen! man lacht me gwn uit maar goed...

moet dop eraf anders mocht die niet mee!!!!!! pech dan maar ff meteen opdrinken. eenmaal binnen werden ik en carolien best wel beetje panisch want where the heck moesten we naar binnen voor die Golden Circle?! ... nou gelukkig maar 1 ingang! normale staanplaatsen waren al propvol
golden Circle viel nog mee... helaas stond iedereen natuurlijk al tegen de hekken aan! maar maar 1 rij!!! YES! dacht ik sta ik toch nog voor!!!! (bijna dan!) onze kant was nog best rustig maar na een half uur moest je niet naar achteren gaan lopen. 
maar DAMZ! wat een goed zicht hadden we!!!!
toen begon het ergste (mijn mening dan) het voor programma... JIM BAKKUM!!!!!!! hoe konden ze dit als voorprogramma voor Enrique doen...
najah des de meer ik er zin in het wat er daarna kwam! Jim begon met zingen en BAM!!! wat een bas hee!!! me haren shoten overeind! opzich wel grappig maar kreeg er wel best hoofdpijn van
had ik nog van die leuke oordopjes gekocht VERGEET IK ZE!!!!!!!!!!!! 
hahaha hoe stom ben je dan... voorprogramma duurde wel een half uur!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grrrrr je kan je wel voorstellen hoe ik me ergde! wat een irrietante stem heeft die gozer... op een gegeven moment zegt hij: "jullie komen allemaal voor Enrique..."iedereen juigen en gillen natuurlijk "maar wie zijn er ook voor mij gekomen" je hoorde maar een paar mensen yeah roepen!
"dus niet veel zegt hij" waarop ik roep "ja rot nou maar van dat podium!" ging hij nog een laatste nr doen... omfg nee 
! eindelijk hij was weg
duurde nog wel ruim een half uur voordat hij kwam. de muziek begon me langzaam te irrieteren ik en Carolien hadden onze camera's al in de aanslag. ondertussen bereidde de camera ploeg zich voor. (ja want alles werd gefilmd en zal uit komen op DVD. en die gaat wereldwijd! yes!!!) De muziek begon weer maar dit keer een bekend geluid, er kwamen teksten achter het doek (witte doek) hij kon ieder moment te voorschijn komen... exciting!!!! Muziek ging sneller en sneller, en toen.... stil... BAM daar ging het doek! iedereen ging uit zijn plaat!!!!! letterlijk! dit was zo een geweldig moment... ik ondertussen nog meer doof! dus dacht ach krijg wat ik gil net zo hard mee! nee harder!!!! licht ging aan en daar stond hij! doodstil
hij begon met het liedje, rustig opbouwend "Tonight I'm Loving you" op een gegeven moment kapte hij het af en zei do you wanna have it a lil bit more Dirty, holland can it be dirty? waarbij iedereen doen compleet weer uit zijn dak ging! en begon hij de origineel te zingen "Tonight I'm Fucking You". het publiek was geweldig! iedereen zong mee... volgende nyummer bleef hij nog even in het midden staan, en kwam onze kant op! ik stond al te filmen ofcourse, en hij kwam dichterbij dichterbij en ineens voor ik het wist stond hij pal voor ons neus en kwam nog dichterbij door van het podium af te springen en kwam op een verlaging terecht! ik werd zwaar geplet door de menigte! maar het kon me niets schelen!!!
we waren met zijn allen (voorste 2 rijen dan) een hand verwijderd! als hij iets meer naar voren was gekomen, ik denk dat hij er dan tussen had gelegen haha. en hij ging weer weg maar hij bleef tot wel 6 a 7 keer bij ons komen!!! en iedere keer op die verlaging! geweldig gewoon! dus ik kan wel zeggen dat ik de beste plek had met de meiden om me heen! dus ik had niets te klagen!!!! 
er werden witte krukjes neergezet op het podium waar een zangeres en wat muziekanten van de band bij gingen zitten, enriqeu vertelde toen hem werd gevraagd waar hij zijn concert voor de DVD wilde laten filmen met vol lof zei dat hij dat hier in nederland, Rotterdam wilde doen. Want wij zijn tenslotte het best publiek!
wat een geluk!!! Hij liep na een tijdje naar het midden en bekeek het publiek daar om zich heen, en vroeg: "who whants to come with me on the stage?" iedereen weer compleet uit zijn dak!!!!!!! iedereen natuurlijk. hij pikte 2 mensen uit en verwees ze naar de witte krukjes vederop, hij ging daar met ze zitten en vroeg wat dingen, de jongen zei zijn naam maar Enrique had moeite met het uitspreken van zijn naam wat wel erg grappig was. Het bleken broer en zus te zijn. Enrique vroeg de 2 of ze een nummer hadden die ze willen dat hij voor ze ging zingen, hij vroeg het aan de jongen waarop hij lang moest na denk, hierop vroeg Enrique, of hij uberhuapt zijn liedjes wel kenden. (die kenden hij dus niet ) hij vroeg het aan het meisje, die zij meteen HERO! ofcourse ik wist het ... dit is een speciale act dus hij was niet van plan om dat te gaan doen, maar hij plaagde een beetje en keek achterom naar zijn muzikant en zei "why, now is she ruing it all!" iedereen lag in een deuk. de jongen zegt aah doe het voor haar... waarop enrique zei oke maar bleef zitten! wel legde hij zijn hoofd op de schoot van het meisje, het leek wel of ze het niet meer had! maar ze kon dr zelf bedwingen! hij zong wel 4 hele zinnen en kapte af, en vroeg oke jongens even sirieus nou, noem een nummer. uiteindelijk zei de jongen een leuk nr best wel oud (niet van enrique, sorry weet titel niet meer
) maar bijna iedereen kenden het dus we zongen mee!!! uiteindelijk gingen hun weer terug en ging de show verder en weer kwam hij onze kant op! en toen hij wegliep keek ik even tussen de 2 meiden door waar ik achter stond! ik schrok me helemaal rot ik kijk recht in die grote kijker van een camera!!! ik draai me gauw terug en wen me weer tot Enriqeu die verderop nu was!!!
paar liedjes later klonk een heel bekend deuntje, het deuntje van Hero en iedereen ging weer uit zijn plaat! want dit was het moment! hij ging iemand uit het publiek halen! en duurde wel even, ik kon niets zien
dus keek ik maar mee op het scherm die ik ook bijna niet kon zien!!! maar ik zag wat 
ik wende me even tot een meisje die naast me stond en helemaal gek werd en riep kom hiereen verdomme ik wil! ach mens shut up dacht ik iedereeen wil wel maar dit gedeelte heeft gewoon pech! wees blij dat hij zo vaak bij ons van het podium kwam! ineens hoorde we een luid gegil toen wisten we dat hijiemand had gevonden, het was een blond meisje (het valt wel op dat hij altijd de blonde kiest in NL!) waarop het meisje achter me zegt, je had hier moeten komen brunetteszijn veel mooier . dus hier een typ aan alle meiden die volgende keer ook of weer gaaan, eerst je haar blonderen tuurlijk ook ik baalde wie niet ahum
... maar ik genoot van de show en daar ging he tme om! iedereen werd gek toen hij heel close met haar ging staan waarbij ik dacht oo come on mensen doe normaal maar het is wel een leuk effect hahahaha 
en dan hadden we ook nog eens de gitaarist, die stond heel vaak aan onze kant en maar zwaaien en terug zwaaien! big smile op zijn gezicht de hele tijd! het waren geweldige muzikanten de rest van de show ging gepaart met confettie die afgeschoten werd, vuur, BALLONNEN! die door de zaal gingen en maar bleven gaan want iedereen gooide ze weer omhoog! dit was echt een mooi effect.

en ik trok Carolien mee! gelukkig waren we snel buiten, in de auto zagen we dat iemand posters uit deelde! waarop Carolien meteen de auto uitsprong en er 2 kocht! 1 voor haar en 1 voor mij 
(dankje meid) ik heb zeker nog een uur naa zitten genieten van de show. Het was zeker een dag om nooit meer te vergeten (time of my live haha) en kan niet wacthen tot hij op DVD uit komt!
en zijn next concert in Ahoy, I will be there for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ik heb ook alles gefilmd met hele goeie closeups!!! komt zo snel mogelijk online!
