Meet and Greet with Bruno Mars

 On the road ...

Around 12.30pm we left home, kinda later then we planned for, but still we were right on schedule. after 3 hours driving, Caroline: "SHIT DID WE TOOK THE GIFT WITH US?" So as soon as we stopped on the side of the read, I stepped out and I screwed up the whole trunk, but… conclusion: NO!!! FORGOTTEN! As totally disappointed we are that we forgot it. I was really in de mood to go back. But that was not realistic, we would arrive way too late. it started not great already this morning because I forgotten my iPod and the radio refused to work. :( no music. So we just made our own music ... ahem: P ... it was a terrible long end to drive. We have been stuck for 2x in the traffic, which we lost 20min already. I got a bad feeling that we wouldn't make it on time . What a big mess in Luxembourg! 3 and half hours sitting * yawn * but we drove each 1 and half hour. Finally after 2 hours driving we arrived at a gas station to fill the gas of my car: O: O ... in the store there everything in there was 2times bigger then we have in Holland, like a bottle of nutela, has the size from 10 small bottles Omg! In Meanwhile that we ate some, Caroline got the brilliant idea to create a new card for Bruno. She still had one with his picture on it. And she got it with her. I wrote it and Carolien bought something there.

Arrived.

After a long trip of like 4 hours we arrived at the Rockhal in Luxenbourg over 4:30pm (we had to be there before 5pm)we first had to park. So once arrived at the building there were quite a few people in the normal line (900 people or so) . We were at the (then) quiet row for all people with a M&G. I had expected that more people got a M & G but it remained quiet. Meanwhile, we found out that behind us were two girls with a mother who was also Dutch. So while we were waiting we had some fun. Were about 11 or 12 people for the meet and greet. There wasn’t coming more. What was even better. All the time that we are waiting we got into a nice conversation with the other girls. We saw some very old ladies who wearied high boots short dress so her legs were naked. (and no offence and dont wanna be disrespectfull, but these old legs were just... ewl...) It was a terrible view. I understand that also old ladies want to meet Bruno. But please dress yourself to your age. Well it was quite funny. She thought she was hot. But not :P

Meet and Greet!

At 6pm, we finally got inside. (so why the hell did we need to rush all for?! :P ). When we got inside, everything got checked by name, etc.. We got a silver wristband what we had to wear with Meet & Greet on it. We needed to take the stairs to go upstairs where we had to wait. The rest of the crowd still had to wait an hour outside before they were allowed to get in. Oh, that was a nice feeling: P ... (no offense to those who were waiting outside XD) we were escorted to upstairs. Security men were literally everywhere. Once we were there, we were ordered to stand against the wall. They putted some music on, first you heard an acoustic sung, and I saw girls looking shocked because they thought it was Bruno who walked up while singing haha. Those men of the security where laughing because of the reaction from the girls! Also me, Carolien and the rest of the Dutch girls laughed out loud. After like fifteen minutes there came two men, the one, I think, worked here at the concert hall and the other man was very big and cranky, I don’t think if he worked here. But I don’t think so. Because the man who worked here had to translate everything to France. Because the big man only spoke English and in Luxembourg they speak most of the time France. The big man who spoke English looked


like he was not in the mood. He instructed us that we’re under no tame may ask for SIGNATURE! He repeated this like 6 times! Yes tis already clear God Jesus!I thought by myself. The pictures will be taken by Dre, a crew member of Bruno. And only one picture! We had to stay and act easy and quite. it needed to all go as smoothly as possible. If you did not do that they would place you back outside by the rest of the crowd all the way behind. If we behaved, the big man would make sure that we will get the best places by the stage. Everyone behaved and he went away and 10 minutes later we heard people coming. It were the security men. WHAAA With Bruno in between! Oh great moment! Everybody was clapping. Bruno slipped out away from the security and looked at all of us and shouted: "Hey! Great to see you guys how are you? " He was immediately ordered to stand somewhere where they can take the pictures. He was really chill and found a nice spot where he could stand. The big man said us to stand in a row behind each other against the wall. (Looked like we were in a prison, please do normal you idiot… I thought!). Dre (who took the pictures)was really quick. Jesus, it went so fast, we came closer. I pushed Carolien in front of me and said: "YOU FIRST!" Haha. That big guy immediately when it was Carolien turn: "Let Bruno feels like home, like say: whatssup Bruno!" Uh my god act normal men! XD and Carolien was like. “Hey, I am 'normal'Dutch you know!! Im not doing that” Haha... ok now I got to start to be kinda nervous! I! Carolien had set her photo camera on Multi Shot so that at least one good picture would come out. Poor Dre he became quite scared because he thought he had molested the camera. Haha, he made like 6 pictures or so on haha. You Go Carolien.

Omg, omg, omg now it is my turn ... fidget whistled through my belly .... Ok quietly and as calmed I can I walked Bruno’s way, he gives me a hand and starts to say "hi I'm Bruno" WOW! WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO?! LOL OH MY, HE JUST INTRODUCED HISSELF TO ME! WHY HE DID THAT... Now I had a blackout. I got myself back and said "uh, hello I know that." what the hell is that for? why I’m saying that? :S haha ​​I could slam myself for my face for that. That was mean of him he brought me of the line. He laughed at me, relaxed me a bit, while still holding my hand. He said: "I'm sorry beautiful, I’m just teasing you, try to relax, Im relaxed too." yeah, you teaser...lol... In the meanwhile, I gave my camera to Dre, I saw that he was struggling with my camera. He checked probably if everything was ok so that he could do nothing wrong again. This gave me some extra time with Bruno: D I just do not know what I said at least I told him that I came all the way from Amsterdam to come here. And if he come back to The Netherlands soon. Which he said "wow all the way from there, guess long trip and I hope soon " I think I used more than 30 seconds because Dre impaired us and said “okay picture time talked enough!” Bruno was just as tall like me :D that was so cute... he did his arm behind my back and after picture was taken, I almost got pulled away from Bruno by the security I couldn’t even say goodbye L, (I thought Jesus relaxed guys) I guess I took way too much time in their eyes. (I also actualy had more time then other! like freaking 3minutes! while the rest hadlike 30 seconds or so?) But Bruno(who was still holding my hand)  was trying to say goodbye too me and pulled me back to him again. I couldnt believe what happend, he just really gave me a spontaneous HUG!!!... WOUW! Did that just really happened?... I said (kinda confused) "aaawh thank you" with a big smile on my face ofcourse....which he said "thank you 2. Enjoy the show."haha... The securitypushed my camera back in my hand and so I had to really get out there now! The woman who was holding my back, gaved it friendly back. Got I signed poster in my hand, given by the security who said where I had to wait. but I was not really listening. I was in some extese... lol...
Downstairs I had to get myself back for what just all happened :D then I got back excited again.

When everyone was done, we got the best spot by the stage and the big man said “thanks for listening and behave”.... Whatever.! I was unfortunately not quite in the middle. But it would be near where Jamereo.: D and pretty close to where Bruno would be.

Performance

Then came the rest of the crowds in! I prepared myself for the invasion…lol. Jesus, those France people are the worst! They were pushing! screaming all. While the show not even have been started.

Skylar Grey was as opening act. She was pretty good :D. Her name sounded familiair but I couldn’t place here. Till she started to sing “Coming Home”. She also told us that she wrote “I Love The Way You Lie” she gaved this to Eminem. It was also his birthday so she started to sing and dedicated this song to him.

In the meanwhile like 9 people were removed because they got knocked out! :O and the show not even started.

Now the show began and I got my camera ready! Wow now I was deaf! Everyone was screaming their lungs out their life’s lol…! The show was just started and then the big man came standing in front of me again! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What the hell does he wants now?!?! “DO NOT FILM!” he says. what the hell is that! I ask “why not?” He was getting kinda aggressive. He started to yell at me “JUST NOT FILMING” he said mad! So I yelled back at him “JESUS CRHIST MAN! YO TRANQUILO!!! I PUT IT AWAY! DON’T WORRIE. WATCH YOUR BLOODPRESURE!” Jamereo probably saw how I railed against the man and laughed! Well I thought “Shit for you fat guy!” so I grabbed my phone and started to film with that like everyone else in this f****k hall!! Of course it would not be as nice as with the film camera. but hey, at least I had something else to capture everything.

The show was great and as always with the Lazy Song did Phill amazing: D. everyone went crazy when he did his part in the song. They all stopped the music and everyone clapped and screamed for him. Bruno laughed and Phil smiled who was quite proud of himself. Bruno proclaimed that he was going to do one more time and everyone still screamed. so I yelled amazing loud "GO PHILL" . OMG! what a shame just at that moment the whole room was silent! But what the hell. Just supporting right? But it was still awkward… haha Phill did it again, and everyone screamed even louder. great moment. the show was awesome: D Then Bruno started the song Our First Time, and told all the couples in the audience about the boys had to sing along with this song but looking at their girlfriends. Many girls went absolutely crazy so Bruno said real quick "and the single girls of you do not get mad right away, because the hooligans are for you and will sing this for you"(with “the Hooligans” he meant himself and the rest of the band) everyone was like “ooh and aawh” haha. When Bruno was singing this song it looks like he felt it, like as if he courteous at that time. The whole audience sang along, with all songs by the way. Bruno came several times in our direction and at some point he went on the right side of us on stage and got to stand on the sound boxes. And reaches to people's hands. but unfortunately not with us. But because we already had had M&G it was not that terrible:). Bruno said that this was it. He and the band left the stage. but I got thinking and one song was missing. OFCOURSE! TALKING TO THE MOON! and sure enough they came back. Some people got emotional…. Yes even I. it’s just such a beautiful and emotional song!


It was a great show and this won’t be the last one for sure! Can’t wait for his next show. I still cannot believe it. especially the meet and greet.

Onderweg…

Zaten we in de auto we waren precies op schema, zegt Carolien na 3 kwartier rijden: “SHIT HEB IK DAT CADEAUTJE WEL MEEGENOMEN?” dus wij zo snel mogelijk gestopt aan de kant ik de hele kofferbak overhoop gehaald niets te bekennen. VERGETEN! NEE! (Carolien had een onwijs leuke kaar laten maken met een vet leuke tekst erop. Echt iets voor hem. Met een klein aapje erbij) Wij balen. Ik was nog in staat om terug te gaan. Maar dat was niet realistisch, we zouden dik te laat komen. Het begon allemaal niet geweldig vanmorgen want ik had ook me IPod vergeten en de radio vertikte t om mee te werken. Dus maakte we maar onze eigen muziek… uhum… Nou ja wij verder gereden, wat een pokken end. Hebben we nog 2 x in de file gestaan waardoor we dus alweer 20 min kwijt waren. Wat een chaos in Luxenburg zeg! 3 en half uur gezeten *gaap* ff afgewisseld met omstebeurt rijden. Na 2 uur rijden Komen we bij een tankstation om te tanken vet goedkoop daar! Scheelt gewoon ruim 40 cent per liter. Staan we ff in dat winkeltje alles vet groot daar, pot nutela waar wel 10 x van t normale formaat ingaat! Omg! Ondertussen had Carolien het briljante idee om alsnog een nieuwe kaart te maken. Ze had er nog 1 met Bruno zijn foto erop. Ik geschreven en Carolien iets erbij gekocht (vet schattig aapje XD).

Gearriveerd!

Na een lange rit uiteindelijk al over half 5 (moesten er 5 uur zijn) komen we aan bij het Rockhal in luxenburg moesten nog parkeren etc. eenmaal aangekomen bij het gebouw stonden er al aardig wat mensen in de normale rij (stuk of 900 mensen). Wij mochten bij de (toen nog) rustige rij voor alle mensen met een M&G. ik had nog verwacht dat er meer mensen een M&G kregen maar het bleef rustig. Ondertussen kwamen we erachter dat achter ons nog 2 meiden met een moeder stonden die Nederlands waren. Dus werd nog wel gezellig ondanks hett wachten. Waren met ongeveer 11 a 12 mensen voor de M&G. En daar bleef het bij. Ondertussen dat we moest wachten zagen we bij ons in de rij een oude vrouw, wij schatte, een jaar of 50. Had een kort rokje aan hoge laarzen blote benen en had haarzelf onwijs dik opgemaakt. Ewl gewoon! Ik kan me voorstellen dat zo een vrouw ook wel Bruno wil ontmoeten maar kleed je dan wel naar je leeftijd. O mijn god he!

De Meet&Greet!…

Pas om 6 uur mochten wij naar binnen (hebben we daarom zo zitten haasten?!). Binnen werd alles op naam etc. gecontroleerd. We kregen een zilver polsbandje om met Meet&Greet erop. De rest van de mensenmassa moest nog dik een uur buiten wachten. Och, wat was dat een heerlijk gevoel (no offence voor de mensen die buiten stonden XD) we werden naar boven begeleid. Letterlijk overal stonden security mannen. Eenmaal boven werd ons bevolen om tegen de muur te staan en ondertussen werd er een muziek opgezet, er werd eerst akoestisch gezongen en ik zag meiden verschrikt kijken want die dachten dat dat Bruno was die zingend aan kwam lopen haha. Die mannen van security moesten lachen! Wij ook natuurlijk. Na een kwartier kwamen er 2 mannen 1 die werkte hier waarschijnlijk en die moest alles vertalen naar het Frans wat de andere man in het Engels zei. De grote man die Engels praatte zag er vet chagrijnig uit maar goed. Hij instrueerde ons dat we onder geen bedwing HANDTEKENING MOCHTEN VRAGEN! Dit herhaalde hij wel 6 keer! (Ja tis al duidelijk jezus! Dacht ik.) we mochten niet zelf de foto’s maken die werden gemaakt door Dre, 1 van de crew leden van Bruno. En echt maar 1 foto! We moesten rustig blijven en ons gedragen want het moest allemaal zo vlot mogelijk gaan. Als je dit niet deed werd je gewoon weer buiten neergezet en achteraan in de rij. Deden we wat er gezegd werd, dan zou hij voor de best plekken zorgen voor ons. Hij ging weer weg en 10 min later hoorden we mensen aankomen. Met daar tussen Bruno! Och geweldig moment! Iedereen klappen, hij dook tussen die mannen vandaan en riep: “He wat leuk jullie te zien. Alles goed?” werd hem meteen bevolen om ergens te gaan staan om de foto’s te maken. Hij heel chill een mooi plekje zoeken en ons werd bevolen om in de rij te staan door die zelfde grote kerel weer. (leek wel een gevangenis man doe normaal!).Dre (die ging de foto’s maken) stond ook al klaar. Jezus wat ging dat snel allemaal we kwamen steeds dichterbij. Ik trok Carolien naar voren en zei: “JIJ EERST!” haha. Die grote kerel meteen weer tegen Carolien. “Geef Bruno het gevoel alsof die thuis is door bijvoorbeeld te zeggen: he whatssup Bruno!” uh doe normaal vent! en Carolien. “Hee, ik ben een Hollander hoor!” Haha Carolien liep naar Bruno en gaf hem ons cadeautje. Wat die helemaal geweldig vond. Ok nou begon ik toch echt wel kapot nerveus te worden! Carolien had haar foto toestel op Multi shot gezet zodat er in ieder geval een mooie uit zou komen. Die arme Dre die raakte hierdoor helemaal van slag en dacht dat hij de camera gemolesteerd had. Haha, ondertussen stonden er een stuk of 6 foto’s op haha. Go Carolien.

Omg toen moest ik… Omg, Omg zenuwen gierde door me lijf…. Ok ik heel rustig lopen, geeft die me een hand zegt die “hi I’m Bruno” WOW! WAT DOET HIJ! Stel ZICH GEWOON VOOR WTF! LOL... OMG nu had ik ff een black-out hierdoor. Ik herpakte mezelf en zei “uh hallo dat weet ik toch!” Omg wat is dat nou weer? Waarom zei ik dat? Haha kon mezelf wel voor me kop slaan. Dat was gemeen van hem, hij had me van me stuk gebracht. Hij moest lachen en relaxte me een beetje en zei nog steeds me hand vasthouden: “I’m sorry beautifull, I´m Just teasing you, try to relax, Im relaxed too.” Ondertussen gaf ik me camera aan Dre, ik zag dat hij aan het klote was met me camera, waarschijnlijk beetje checken dat hij nu niets verkeerds zou doen. dit gaf me wat extra tijd met Bruno :D ik weet gewoon niet meer wat ik allemaal vroeg in ieder geval zei dat ik helemaal vanuit Amsterdam hierheen ben gekomen of hij gauw ook naar Nederland kwam, waarop hij zei "wow all the way from there, guess long trip and I hope soon " volgens mij had ik wel langer dan een half minuut :D op een gegeven moment riep Dre, ok picture time enough talked! Bruno was gewoon net zo groot als ik vet schattig XD… sloeg zijn arm achter mij en na de foto werd ik zowat weg getrokken door de security, (ik dacht jezus relaxed man haha zal wel te veel tijd in beslag hebben genomen in hun ogen. Maar Bruno probeerde mij nog gedag te zeggen en trok mij gewoon letterlijk terug XD kreeg nog spontaan een omhelzing van hem… WOW! :D aaawh vet lief. Ik zei "aaawh dank je wel" waarop hij zei "jij ook bedankt en geniet van de show." Haha nu werd me camera in me handen gedrukt en moest ik echt wegwezen! WOW! Was dat nou net echt gebeurt dacht ik? Ik moest het echt wel even verwerken. Toen alle mensen geweest waren kregen we het beste plekje in de zaal en zei die grote kerel nog bedankt voor het luisteren en gedragen. Whatever….! Ik stond helaas niet helemaal in het midden. Maar vlakbij waar Jamereo zou staan. :D en nog aardig dichtbij waar Bruno zou staan…

Het optreden.

Toen kwam de rest van de mensen massa naar binnen! Ik bereidde me al voor. Jezus wat zijn die Franse toch erg en maar duwen en banaal doen! schreeuwen gillen alles! terwijl nog niets begonnen was. Skylar Grey was als openings-act. wow ze was wel goed. Haar naam kwam me al bekend voor maar ik kon het gewoon niet plaatsen. Toen ze het liedje “Comming Home” ging zingen wist ik het weer. Ook vertelde ze dat ze het nummer “I Love The Way You Lie” heeft geschreven en dat die dus van haar is. Ze droeg dit ook op aan Eminem want die was ook nog eens jarig vandaag. Ondertussen voor dat Bruno opkwam waren er wel een stuk of 9 mensen afgevoerd omdat ze niet goed waren geworden :O.

Uiteindelijk begon het hoor dus ik me film camera in de aanslag wow ik was doof! Iedereen gillen! Tijdens de show kwam die grote kerel weer voor me staan! NEE HE! Wat moest die nou weer! MOCHT IK NIET FILMEN! Wat is dat nou weer!!! ik vraag “waarom niet?” hij werd aardig agressief. en zei best wel schreeuwend “GEWOON NIET FILMEN!” dus ik zo werd nou ook kwaad en begon ook tegen hem te schreeuwen “EEHJ MAN TRANQUILO IK DOE HEM AL WEG DOE EVEN NORMAAL! Denk om je bloeddruk vent!”ik werd ook kwaad man. Jamereo die zag waarschijnlijk hoe ik tegen die man tekeer ging en moest lachen! naja ik dacht je kan me wat en pakte me telefoon er gewoon bij! en ging daarmee filmen. natuurlijk zou dat niet zo mooi worden als met die filmcamera. maar ach moest toch wat. de show was geweldig en zoals altijd bij de Lazy Song deed Phill hett geweldig :D. iedereen ging uit z’n dak toen hij zijn ding deed. ze stopte gewoon met de muziek en iedereen klapte. bruno moest lachen en Phill die was helemaal trots. toen Bruno verkondigde dat hij dat stukje nog keer ging doen riep ik keihard "GO PHILL" alleen wat een schande op dat moment was de hele zaal stil! haha Phill ging het nog een keer doen en iedereen nog harder gilde. geweldig moment. de show was super :D op een gegeven moment begon hij het liedje “Our First Time” en zei tegen alle stelletjes in de zaal over de jongens dat ze mee moesten zingen maar kijkend naar hun vriendin. waarop heel wat meiden uit hun dak gingen en Bruno snel zei: "en de single meiden onder jullie word niet meteen gek, want de hooligans zijn er voor jullie en zullen dit voor jullie zingen" (met de hooligans bedoelde hij, hemzelf en de band) waarop iedereen ooh en aawh zei haha. Volgens mij zat Bruno er helemaal in alsof die het gewoon beleefde. De hele zaal zongen alle nummers mee. Bruno kwam een aantal keer onze kant op en op een geven moment ging die helemaal rechts van het podium op een box staan om mensen hun hand te geven. Jammer, niet bij ons maar omdat wij al M&G hadden gehad was dat niet erg :). op een gegeven moment ging bruno en de band weg. maar er miste nog een nummer. NATUURLIJK TALKING TO THE MOON! en ja hoor ze kwamen terug. er werden wat mensen emotioneel, is ook een vet gevoelig en mooi nummer dus zelfs ik werd het een beetje :) !!!

was een geweldig show en zeker niet de laatste :D kan het nog steeds niet geloven. special the meet and greet.
